It's nice that you are able to adjust positions without having to unlock it by hitting a lever (I have another brand that uses a lever to lock position and it's easily kicked so it doesn't stay in position). Nice size.

I no longer need to prop my legs up on the computer CPU. I love the ability to tilt the foot rest to any angle.

I'm 5"4' and I adjusted the height to keep my knees slightly elevated while my feet are on it. I like the hinge it's on, because i can point and flex my feet under my desk. I move around in my desk alot, so this foot rest is a perfect size that it isn't in my way, and it is light enough that I can move it around under my desk whenever I feel like changing where I am sitting.

The bottom assembly of this product is entirely metal, but the top (the part you put your feet on) is plastic. After about a year, the plastic split down the middle from the pressure of having my feet on it all day. I reinforced the thing (with metal struts and screws), but it's rather sad I had to go that far.
